Terms and conditions of participation and disclaimer

The purchase of a ticket, pass, booking or any other form of access to the activities organised by Karting Club Tenerife implies your express, full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Participation.

1. Voluntary participation and acceptance of risk

The participant declares that they are attending the Karting Club Tenerife premises of their own free will to take part in a sporting and recreational activity which, by its very nature, involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, collisions, running off the track, loss of control of the vehicle, falls and other incidents that may result in damage to property or personal injury.

The participant acknowledges that they are aware of these risks and agrees to accept them freely and voluntarily, at their own risk.

2. Health and fitness to drive

The participant declares that they are in a fit state of health, both physically and mentally, to take part in the activity, and confirms that they do not suffer from any illness, injury, disability, medical condition or any other circumstance that could affect their ability to drive a go-kart safely or put themselves or others at risk.

3. Knowledge of the rules and use of the facilities

The participant confirms that they are aware of, understand and accept the circuit’s operating rules, the instructions provided by Karting Club Tenerife, the guidance given by the staff in charge, and the signage displayed on the premises.

They also undertake to comply with these rules at all times and to behave in a responsible and prudent manner whilst on the premises.

4. Inspection and use of the vehicle

The participant declares that they have had the opportunity to inspect the vehicle assigned to them, have received the necessary explanations regarding its operation, and have fully understood the instructions for its correct use.

By taking part in this activity, the user accepts the apparent condition of the vehicle and the equipment provided.

5. Safety equipment

The participant acknowledges that they have received the safety equipment provided by Karting Club Tenerife and undertakes to use it correctly throughout the activity, following the instructions of the staff in charge at all times.

He also undertakes to look after and preserve this material properly whilst it remains in his care.

6. Obligation to follow staff instructions

The participant acknowledges the authority of the track marshal and the staff of Karting Club Tenerife to direct, supervise and oversee the activity.

Failure to comply with the instructions provided may result in immediate suspension of participation, with no entitlement to a refund.

7. Liability for damage caused by the participant

Participants shall be liable for any damage or loss caused by their actions or omissions, negligence, recklessness, dangerous behaviour or failure to comply with the rules of use, whether to other participants or to the facilities, vehicles, equipment or any other property belonging to Karting Club Tenerife or to third parties.

Karting Club Tenerife expressly reserves the right to claim full compensation for any damage caused, as well as for any financial loss arising therefrom.

8. Limitation of liability

The participant acknowledges that go-karting involves inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated by reasonable safety measures.

Consequently, you agree that Karting Club Tenerife shall not be liable for any damage, injury or loss arising from such risks inherent in the activity, provided that it has acted with due care and complied with the applicable legal safety obligations.

9. Indemnity in respect of acts of third-party participants

The participant accepts the risks associated with interacting with other users during the activity and acknowledges that Karting Club Tenerife shall not be liable for any damage caused solely by the negligent, reckless or unlawful conduct of another participant.

10. Validity of acceptance

Acceptance of these terms and conditions shall apply to all activities undertaken by the participant at Karting Club Tenerife, both present and future, unless they are amended or replaced by a new version requiring express acceptance.

11. Express acceptance

By purchasing a ticket, making a booking, acquiring a voucher or obtaining access in any other way, the participant declares that they have read these Terms and Conditions in full, understand their content and expressly accept them, thereby confirming their intention to take part in the activity under the conditions set out herein.
